PUPPY GUARANTEE

  CONGENITAL DEFECTS

If at any time during the first year your puppy or dog from Apex American
Bulldogs is found to have a congenital defect, this includes but is not limited to heart and thyroid, you may return him/her to us, along with the ABA/ARF Registration Papers. After a second evaluation by our vet confirm dog has the illness or defect We will replace the dog ( same sex ) at no charge from the next available litter of equal quality or you may move up to Show Quality or a higher quality by paying the difference.

HIP DYSPLASIA

The puppy will be free from Hip Displasia of genetic origin at the age of 15 months as determined by the Orthopedic Foundations for Animals (OFA).

RESTRICTIONS ON GUARANTEE

We do not give cash refunds at anytime, we will replace your puppy if s/he is found to have a defect but will not refund cash.

This guarantee applies only to the original puppy and is non-transferable. No replacement will be given if the male or female has been bred. If it has been used in any type of weight pulling or protection, training this will also void the guarantee.

If registration application form has expired, there will be no replacement.
This means if you do not register your bulldog this guarantee is VOID.
You may still return your puppy at anytime for any reason and s/he will be placed in a new home but there will be no replacement.

The name “APEX” must appear in the ABA/ARF registered name on the ABA/ARF registration papers. If it does not, there will be no replacement. You may still return your puppy at anytime for any reason and s/he will be placed in a new home but there will be no replacement.

All returns are subject to being positively identified by DNA testing. Owner is responsible for transportation costs to and from APEX AMERICAN BULLDOGS.

If the Bulldog has been spayed or neutered the replacement puppy, will come with limited registration and spay/neuter contract.

If the puppy has developed bone or joint problems from over feeding or over exercising, s/he may be returned but will not be replaced. You must return vet records including weight at check ups with your puppy.

Puppy must be vet checked at least once every 3 months during his/her first year, at least once every 6 months following this.

You must have your puppy examined by your own veterinarian within 3 days (72 hours) of taking possession of your puppy.

Should the puppy develop a health problem and have to be returned the puppy would receive whatever medical treatment is necessary and be placed in a new home. The only way I would allow one of my puppies to be put down would be extreme pain and no remedy. 

I also stipulate that if for any reason in the future you cannot provide them with a loving home, you must return the American Bulldog to me; my puppies are NEVER to go to a shelter or pound.

If at any time buyer wishes to sell the Bulldog, the breeder has first option to purchase the dog back.
